Family atmosphere, very close to Yosemite Park
Friendly staff offering personal attention; old-fashioned, comfortable room. Quiet. Ample, satisfying breakfast included.
Was renting condo on the golf course to host a family of 6 (so it is not in the hotel in the village). Breakfast is included and very decent. Staff is absolutely nice ... the owner even has a recorded a yosemite audio guide cd, guiding us from Groveland to Yosemite valley and Glacier Point. If I have a chance to return to Yosemite, I would definitely stay there again...
The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful and their knowledge of Yosemite Park and surrounds was fantastic. The location of the hotel was great for stay on route to the park and we would definitely recommend it. The buffet breakfast in the morning was a great start to the day and very enjoyable.
A charming, friendly, homey feel to this old historic Gold Country Hotel.. Very clean, with compey beds. A good stay. Rooms small, with limited space for storage.
The feeling of going back in history.
Overpriced, poor breakfast with few choices as in no fruit, no hot milk, not dark bread. Carpet in the bedroom was rugged bathroom had only a small shampoo bottle no hair-blow dryer not a bathtub but a standing shower all for US200/night. It was highly disappointing.
Food was excellent, Staff very friendly and helpful, room was lovely & comfortable bed. Close to Yosemite National Park (35 mins drive to the main gate). Great bar across the road (Iron Door Saloon) of which you much check out if your staying in the area.
Very friendly staff, relaxed and comfortable hotel.
Rooms a little small with no wardrobe space
The room was very small, there was no refrigirator
It was small and quaint - - - room was decorated nice. Clean and neat. The new owners are in the process of remodeling the hotel - - replacing light fixtures and resurfacing the dinning room tables. There is no restaurant at the Hotel right now but that appears to be in the plan for the future.
We had reserved room 11 - - checked in and were given the key - - however when I opened the door it was apparent that the room had not been cleaned. We were given another room - - room 6 - - which was ready. It was no big deal but if we had been "attached" to room 11 for any reason (like we had stayed there in the past or something) then it would have mattered. Otherwise, everything was great.
Hotel Charlotte had great character in keeping with its location.
Fabulous staff in a quaint old style US town
More B&B than hotel.
Charming! Great stopping point on the way to Yosemite.
One of the best hotels on our roadtrip. Lovely situated in a nice village. I loved the atmosphere, the room, the concept. Very good. Nice breakfast also!!!!
Lovely little town, helpful staff, slightly quirky.
Check in closed very early.
