Lovely little town, helpful staff, slightly quirky.
Check in closed very early.
Staff were very helpful + hotel was delightful. Great location.
Reception very nice and very kind . the dinner was very good .
The hotel is a family owned establishment, but was renovated, so the rooms have a good heating and new shower installed. Free parking, free wi-fi and inet in the lobby, free breakfast (including hot scrambled eggs and ham, as well as fruits and cold cheese). Very nice and welcoming staff. The hotel has a good restaurant with delicious local food and wine list.
No hairdryer in the room, no elevator (might be an issue if travelling with big bags)
We liked the combination of the hotel and the restaurant downstairs. The bathtub was the largest of all the Californian hotels we stayed in and a definite plus. It may have been the oldest too as was true for the hotel as a whole. Despite the age, we could not hear people in our neighboring room. The staff was friendly.
The downside of the room was the little space for storage of clothes and suitcases. The breakfast was poor in quality with scrambled eggs, sausages and pancakes of too low temperatures.
A good experience with helpful people in a remote location
The rooms were a bit too cozy.
lovely hotel, great stmosphere, staff are lovely -
only concern we booked it as it stated 10 mins from yosemite. it is actually 35 minute drive to the yosemite park -
speacious, good for large families
good restaurant / food
overpriced, small room, located next to restaurant staff break area - very noisy; shower handle came off
